The Dingcun Cultural Exhibition Hall displays Ming and Qing dynasty dwellings in Dingcun village, a key culture relic protection site in China. The dwellings are a folk house building group built between the reign of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1593) and that of Emperor Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty (1853). They are composed of three courtyards forming a pattern of quadrangle dwellings. The group's structures and carving art are among the best in residential buildings in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).
