The Shanxi Import Commodities Exhibition and Experience Center was officially put into operation in the Taiyuan Wusu Free Trade Zone on Dec 19, when the province’s first Ultran bonded store opened in the free trade zone.

The administration committee of Taiyuan Wusu Free Trade Zone planned to build the import commodities exhibition and experience center last October in order to take the free trade zone's policy advantages into full play to expand imports while cultivating export-oriented enterprises.

The exhibition and experience center integrates functions of commodities exhibition, experience, trade, distribution and delivery, and serves as an off-line experience platform for cross-border e-commerce.

The consumers can experience and buy duty-paid import commodities in the center. Distributors can have business meetings, sign purchase contracts with import enterprises and distribute commodities there.

To date, there are 13 projects set up in the center.

The center is designed to offer a brand new shopping style, based on the free trade zone, to process cross-border e-commerce and provide high-quality import commodities at low prices.
