"This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Croisements Festival, an annual festival promoting Sino-French cultural exchanges, as well as the 25th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Ningbo and Rouen. This art exhibition serves as a good platform to deepen cultural exchanges between the two sides," said Han Licheng, the curator of the Ningbo Museum of Art.

Christine Argeles, the deputy mayor of Rouen voiced similar views, praising the art exhibition at the opening ceremony.

"It is amazing to bring my artwork to the coastal city of Ningbo in China," said Jean Pierre Bourgain, a French artist.
