Lijiang-Seoul direct flight opens

The flight OZ3235 landed at the international airport of Lijiang, Yunnan province, at 11:25 pm, April 18. It marks the opening of the direct flight from Lijiang to Seoul, Korea.

This is the third international flight for Lijiang Airport. The previous one was the Lijiang-Hong Kong direct flight that started operating May 31, 2012.

To ensure a successful first flight, the Lijiang Frontier Inspection Station made a thorough plan and held service training sessions and rehearsals in advance.

It also communicated with customs, security, travel agencies and airline companies. A total of 119 tourists on the first flight received efficient clearance services. The direct flight is scheduled to fly twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays to build a "golden travel line" to Seoul.
