Lijiang's tourists to hit 30 million by 2017

The 2013 Lijiang Government Work Report seeks to increase annual tourists to 30 million by 2017 and realize comprehensive tourism revenue of 40 billion yuan ($6.41 billion) in the same year.

Development will focus on cultural tourism thereafter, aiming at building Lijiang into a "Cultural Silicon Valley" to realize an 11-percent increase in annual added value in the service industrial sector.
