Lijiang wins Top 10 Tourism Destinations in China

Ctrip.com, the most famous website in China for travel information, announced the winners of the 2012 Top Ten Tourism Destinations in China. Lijiang is among the top 10 list, nine other cities are Sanya, Beijing, Xiamen, Guilin, Hangzhou, Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong, Shanghai, Chengdu and Suzhou.

The top tourism destinations selection has been held by ctrip.com for four years and is the only competition based on netizen votes. Apart from netizen votes, 20 experts in the tourism industry have been invited to sit on a jury in this year’s top tourism destinations election, including Dai Bin, the president of the China Tourism Academy.
