Day 1: The Old Town of Lijiang

Visitors should first fly to Kunming or Lijiang. Tourists can transfer to buses or trains to reach Lijiang from Kunming. No advanced ticket reservations are needed during low seasons. Lijiang’s local stores and snacks can provide visitors with a different experience. Bars are a good choice in the evening.
Day 2: The Old Town of Dayan

Stay in the town and relax for a whole day. You can either stroll along Sifang Street or find exquisite ornaments in the town’s small stores. Bean jelly, Lijiang fried cake and yogurt are all very delicious specialties. Hot pot is a good choice for supper.

Day 3: The Old Town of Dayan – Lashihai Lake – the Old Town of Shuhe

You can take a bus or rent a car to get to Lashihai Lake. Biking is a perfect choice if you want a unique experience.
Sightseeing, riding a horse, observing birds or rowing a boat are all good choices when you arrive at Lashihai Lake.
The next stop is the Old Town of Shuhe. Shuhe is more tranquil and there are few businesses to disturb you. It is a good place to escape from the noisy city.
You can have a picnic in Lashihai Lake or have local dishes in Shuhe. Black mountain sheep hot pot and cured chops hot pot are quite delicious.
The inns in Shuhe are suitable for tourists who want peace and tranquility.
