Lijiang Railway Station, a new landmark in west Yunnan

Lijiang Railway Station is the second largest railway station in Yunnan province.

The station covers a total area of 11,891 square meters. The waiting room on the first floor covers an area of 2,199 square meters with 600 seats and two automatic elevators to platforms 2 and 3.

The waiting room on the second floor covers an area of 2,581 square meters with 600 seats, and passengers can reach Platform 1 via the overpass. The ticket hall covers an area of 474 square meters with 19 ticket wickets, nine of which are currently in use. The station provides passengers with a very comfortable and pleasant environment and adequate security. There are supermarkets, a McDonalds and a teahouse, as well as a fire control system, air conditioning system and camera monitoring system.

The staff in the station is dedicated to providing great overall service for passengers. The station offers a guidance and consulting counter, special nursing services and wheelchairs for passengers in need. The station also holds a 10-minute English class for working staff every day to help communicate with the many foreign passengers visiting Lijiang.
