Lijiang wins International Media Award for investment and livability

The 2012 International Media Award announced this year’s winners in Macau on Dec 11. Lijiang, thanks to its investment popularity and tourist attractions, was included in the “Top 10 Popular Investment Cities” and “Top 10 Most Livable Cities” lists.

Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, Dalian, Ningbo, Qingdao and Hangzhou were also included on the “Top 10 Popular Investment Cities” list.

Other cities on the “Top 10 Most Livable Cities” list include Hangzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, Dalian, Dali, Suzhou, Xiamen, Zhangjiajie and Guangzhou.

The award was organized by the Overseas Chinese Media Cooperation Organization. All the awards were reviewed and judged objectively by 53 overseas Chinese media executives.
