Lijiang in the winter sunshine

The Old Town of Lijiang is known as the town of ethnic groups which has the well-preserved Naxi houses. It has the spectacular plateau water features in which spring water passes by every house and weeping willows stand by every door, altogether it forms the unique landscape of bridges, water and Naxi houses.

The best season to visit Lijiang is later spring and winter, also during the traditional Naxi holidays, the "San Duo Days" in the lunar February, "Torch Festival" in the lunar June and "July Gathering" in the lunar July.

Tourists can purchase weekly pass ticket to enter the town, priced at 80 yuan ($12.82).
