'Golden Week': Lijiang tourist attractions cut ticket prices by 25%

Lijiang Development and Reform Commission issued the notification on cutting ticket prices during the 2012 National Day holiday. Scenic spots including the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain had a cut of more than 25 percent, from 105 yuan ($ 16.71) to 79 yuan.

Statistics from the National Development and Reform Committee show that, 94 scenic spots were involved in the second- round price reduction, with an average cut of 25%. Among them, four are free to the public and fourteen 5A scenic spots cut ticket price, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Dali Chongsheng Temple in Yunnan province are on the list.
