Lijiang promotes tourism industry at 2012 North China Travel Fair

A Lijiang tourism promotion delegation attended the 17th North China Travel Fair held in Taiyuan on Aug 24. A collection of well-known scenic spots and tourism activities were introduced at the fair, including the old town of Lijiang, Yulong Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake Mosuo tourism, Laojun Mountain ecological tourism, Lijiang golf tourism and Shigu "Red" tourism.

The North China Travel Fair is a regional tourism trade fair supported by the National Tourism Administration and co-hosted by tourist administrations (committees) from 10 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in North China. The fair has been held for 16 consecutive years since 1996, becoming one of three major travel fairs in China.

More than 800 exhibitors from 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as a dozen foreign countries participated in the fair.
