Red flags, lanterns, lights and flowers adorn Zhangjiagang, a port city of eastern Jiangsu province, ahead of National Day on Oct 1. The dominant color for decorations in the city is not hard to miss. They are hanging to mark celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
