June 10 was the second national Low Carbon Day. The Party School of the CPC Zhangjiagang municipal committee carried out a series of activities as one of the promotions arranged for the 24th energy conservation promotion week, which runs from June 8 to 14.

On that day, most school staff went to the office by bike instead of public buses and private cars to promote energy conservation and low carbon lifestyles, as well as to keep fit.

Other energy conservation practices included putting up low-carbon posters, stopping running elevators and using less electricity.

In addition, the school has launched a monitoring platform to monitor the electricity and water consumption 24 hours a day to avoid waste and save energy.
