Wuxi Life Science Park recently opened in Wuxi New District, Jiangsu province, with the aim of promoting the development of life science and technology.

Consisting of a launching area, R&D area and industrial area, the park has formed three industrial clusters, including innovative medicines and preparations, innovative medical equipment, and intelligent medical treatment and healthcare service.

Adhering to the law of development and the needs of the market, the market has focused on the introduction of technologies and self-innovation and has promoted the integration of enterprises. Several key projects, such as the medical nuclear magnetism of TCL, have been set up in the district.

In addition, the district has more than 100 enterprises that were launched by advanced talents, including Nobel winners and academicians from abroad. The gross industrial output value of the district's biopharmaceutical industry in 2014 has reached 2 billion yuan ($322 million).
