We Impact staff Joe Oliver and Tao Sun attended the international marathon in Wuxi, China on April 13, 2013. Joe ran the half marathon, while Tao ran the mini marathon 5km. This was Tao's first time to join a running event, and he was very excited. The marathon route took competitors around the beautiful Taihu Lake and Lihu Lake, taking in the beautiful scenery whilst working up a sweat. Conditions for runners were good, with some light drizzle, and crucially fairly clean air, the AQI being around 50. Tao completed his race in 30 minutes. Joe in 2 hours and 10 minutes.
