2015 Wuxi International Marathon to kick off on March 15

The 2015 Wuxi International Marathon will be held on March 15, in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province.

It is the only international long distance marathon in Jiangsu province. The marathons route is set along many scenic spots and historical landmarks, including Yuantouzhu Scenic Spot, Jiangnan University, Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center, Wuxi Civic Center，Wuxi Grand Theater and Star of Taihu Lake.

Integrating the Jiangnan scenery with the modern city, Wuxi Marathon features one of the most beautiful marathon racing tracks around the world.

The 2015 Wuxi International Marathon will continues the theme of 2014, as well as the characteristic of "the most beautiful marathon racing track in China". The number of participants this year is expected to hit a record of more than 30,000, with the number of full and half marathons exceeding 20,000, an increase of 5,000 over last year.
