Shi Lei, dressed in a red traditional Chinese jacket, played the Ballad of Red Sorghum, an adaptation from the theme song on the TV series Red Sorghum. The TV series was based on a novel by Mo Yan, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2012.
Wang Hua performed the flute music classics Flying Partridges.

The event concluded with a group performance of Journey to Suzhou, a classic flute composition by Jiang Xianwei in 1962. The piece is elegant, with a lucid and lively rhythm, while maintaining a simple and concise structure.
During the event, students from Bacheng Primary School showed their talents in traditional music by playing Little Cowboy. They took a group picture with the flute artists at the end of the event.
