Suzhou-style pastries from Huangtianyuan, a traditional Suzhou-style pastry shop in Suzhou, Jiangsu province will soon be on display in UK during Sept 5 to Oct 2. Before the beautiful pastries visit UK, Huangtianyuan exhibited them to Suzhou citizens in its main shop at Guanqian Street on Aug 25.

It will be the first time for the traditional pastries to make appearance in European countries. Over 20 kinds of pastries including the Double-Ninth Cake (a pastry people eating on the ninth day of the ninth Chinese lunar month), peach-shaped steamed buns, and lotus crispy will be on display. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival that happens on late September, Huangtianyuan will also have two of its pastry chefs visiting Sheffield to show how to make these beautiful and delicious Suzhou-style pastries on site.
