The city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, opened a wintersweet garden, on Jan 11, introducing more than 200 wintersweet trees that are over 30 years of age.

The garden was given its building funding from Rong Zhijian, who was born in Shanghai and is the former chairman of Hong Kong-based conglomerate CITIC Pacific. Tourists can come here to enjoy the enchanting scenery of wintersweet, whatever season it is.

According to related staff, the garden attracted as many as 40,000 tourists on the very day it was opened.
