When the China Tourism Academy issued its annual report at a press conference in the city of Chengdu, Sichuan province, on Jan 9, the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, came in first in tourist satisfaction.

The theme of the conference was "CTA 2014 Academic Achievements" and it included a symposium on Chinese City Tourism Development 2015.

Other cities in the Top 10 are: Hangzhou (Zhejiang province) at No.2, Qingdao (Shandong province) at No.3, then, in descending order, Chengdu (Sichuan), Ningbo (Zhejiang), Suzhou (Jiangsu), Huangshan (Anhui), Chongqing, Xiamen (Fujian), and Zhuhai (Guangdong).
