On July 9, the 8th Matchmaking Festival opened in Baotou, attracting around 30,000 people both young and old. The two-day event managed to help 320 individuals find their beloved ones.

"Although I'm old, I have the right of pursuing my happiness and love. This festival offers me a precious platform and I appreciate it a lot," a 60-year-old woman said.
