After a facelift, three antique locomotives reopened to the public as of April 16, putting on display the history of Chinese trains. First built in 2003, the museum in Central South University Railway Campus was set up to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the foundation of former Changsha Railway University, now merged into Central South University. The three locomotives epitomize development of rail transportation powered by steam, diesel and electricity.
