Kaihui town seeks out most beautiful road

Kaihui town in Changsha county launched a campaign to find the town's most beautiful country road on May 6.
A ceremony was held in front of Yang Kaihui Memorial Hall in town announcing 13 candidate country roads, before 200 cyclists set off to try them out.
A further two cycling activities will be held in May before announcing the winner in June after counting all the votes.
Kaihui town has 640 kilometers of country roads, which makes it easier for visitors to travel around the town.

In recent years, the local government has sought to revive the region's long tradition in porcelain making and boost local industry with the cultural influence of ancient Tongguan kilns, which have a history of 1,200 years.
