Changsha produces the first world-class domestic medical aseptic processing intelligent robot

Updated: 2016-02-10

On Feb 20, the first world-class domestic medical aseptic processing intelligent robot – SFSR-2 finished its pre-embedment and capsulation aseptic processing system and was put into use in Truking. It will be sent to New York to participate in the world-class International Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition in the USA. SFSR-2, researched and developed independently by the scientific research team of Truking, has full intellectual property rights and carries the max hourly embedding capacity of more than 10,000. The price is between 5 million and 6 million RMB, 30 % lower than like products with the same performance in other countries.

Pre-embedment and capsulation are done at one go without interruption. In the spacious and bright production workshop, pre-embedment and capsulation aseptic processing system of the robot is running at a high speed. The deft robot works rapidly with its hands without making any noisy, leaving data flicking on the screen.

Reportedly, the robot is mainly used to produce aseptic medicine, which is the most difficult in medicine production, including aseptic pharmaceutical chemicals, biologic medicine and blood products. It has long been a difficult problem in pharmaceutical industry to improve the production quality and efficiency of pharmaceutical equipment under aseptic condition. The invention of this robot will lead China into a new stage in aseptic medicine production by greatly improving the production quality and efficiency while ensuring a greatly-improved aseptic condition.

Truking, as an industry leader in pharmaceutical equipment in China, has invested nearly 200 million RMB into research and development of medical aseptic processing intelligent robot, wearable exoskeleton robot, intelligent medical robot and smart pharmaceutical industry in two years. According to Tang Yue, chairman of Truking, SFSR-2 has been inspected and checked by dozens of pharmaceutical industries and customers from more than 10 companies were interested in it when it was at pilot stage.
