Ansha Modern Logistics Park

This project in the southern part of the Ansha district has transportation and location advantages since it is only 7 kilometers from the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone and 15 km from Changsha’s Huanghua International Airport. The Beijing - Hong Kong - Macao Highway just to the east passes through Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, while Wanjiali Rd and National Rd 107 connect with Changsha’s downtown area. Other roads to the west and north reach Xia’ning Port, Yueyang, Wuhan and Beijing. Xia’ning Port has eight 1,000-ton berths.

The project has 10 square kilometers of construction area for an inland port with a bonded logistics center in Changsha and a logistics center that serves Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan and central China, with 1.2 sq km completed and home to five logistics companies.

The project combines a free trade zone and port with warehousing and freight handling for the automotive, engineering machinery and electronic information industries to introduce logistics companies, with construction work scheduled for 2015 completion, with an annual throughput of 5 million tons and revenues of 2 billion yuan.

It is expected to cost 7.2 billion yuan and has local government support through policies and preferential treatment. The government will give 80 percent of its taxes above 500,000 yuan for the first year, and 50 percent for the second and third years. There is also a 40-percent tax rebate for any market development with an investment of more than 100 million yuan and a total operations and warehouse area above 20,000 square meters, for a 3-year period taxes reach 5 million yuan or more.
