Overview

This park is in the eastern suburbs of Changsha, 20 kilometers from the downtown area, 18 kilometers from Huanghua International Airport, and is located next to the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, in a beneficial location.

It has a good transportation network with the Changsha-Yongan Expressway, Airport Expressway, Beijing-Hongkong-Macao Expressway, major State and provincial roads.

Preparations and investment requests began in 2002 and construction work began the next year, with a planned area of 30 square kilometers. Its first phase covers 3 sq km, with 2.5 sq km of that fully developed, with a 1-sq-km printing base, while the second phase covers 8.59 sq km.

The park is an urban development center with an eastward expansion plan. It has 98 enterprises and projects, mostly in printing and packaging, automobiles and parts, machinery, plastic, fine processing and new construction materials.

It will have a Printing Science and Technology Industrial Base, in cooperation with the Changsha press and publications bureau and Changsha Printing Industry Association, with provincial Press and Publication Bureau approval and with 22 printing companies expected to set up shop.

The park has an 110,000-volt electric power supply and access to 50,000 tons of water a day. It has mobile communications services, telecommunications, broad band network, broadcasting media and multi-media websites and complete facilities for business, education, leisure, and medical care.

Any enterprise that locates here is eligible for land-use policies and national development zone treatment and land fees include infrastructure and the park management promises the best, promptest, all-round service.

Investment
