A training session in cross-Straits finance and trade cooperation was launched in Huaqiao on Sept 28. The training aims to promote the construction of the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone and improve financial and trade sector skills for more than 180 mid-level cadres in Huaqiao.

During the opening ceremony of the class, Kang Naixin, deputy director of the management committee of the Huaqiao Economic and Development Area, said that all the trainees should study hard and implement lessons into their future work.

Professor Zhou Chengqi from the Economic School of Nankai University spoke about the current situation and the future of cross-Straits financial cooperation.

Held in cooperation with Peking University, the training will invite experts to give six lectures focusing on cross-Straits financial development, Taiwan enterprise investment and collaboration.
