On Jan 31, Yuan Ke, General Director of Kunshan Entry-Exist Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and other official members from Kunshan visited the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Trade Cooperation Zone.

Focusing on the goal of “effective supervision and convenient clearance”, the leaders of Kunshan Entry-Exist Inspection and Quarantine Bureau aired many opinions on how to raise inspection and quarantine efficiency and lower inspection ratio.

After a detailed and intensive discussion, the three sides decided they would make a joint effort to build the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Trade Cooperation Zone into a provincial-level “model zone for safety supervision of import food”, promote more Taiwan food to enter the Chinese mainland market via this zone, and foster functional advantages for the zone.
