On Dec 28, the unveiling ceremony for the creation base of the China Music Literature Association (CMLA) in Kunshan was held at the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Attendees of the ceremony included: Li Cangxiu, vice director of the Standing Committee of Kunshan People’s Congress, Tang Naixin, the official of the Administrative Committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Ren Zhiping, an eminent composer, Yang Shaohua and Hou Yaohua, cross-talk performers, Ma Zhizhong, a notable ventriloquist, Yu Lina and Chen Minghua, singers, Wang Baoxin, a well-known calligrapher, and Zhang Qiao, a painter.

CMLA is a national first-class civil social group approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Since its foundation 30 years ago, CMLA has thrown large evening parties, the CCTV Festival Gala and much more.

The creation base was set up in Huaqiao International Service Business Park and is an attraction for Kunshan’s cultural construction. The base hopes to cultivate a team of superior writers, musicians and artists and will invite famous composers to give lessons. It also provides cultural performances, public relation activities and more.
