Involving 5 themed activities, 40 thousand commodities from Taiwan, the 2010 Jiangsu-Taiwan Week is going to be held in Jiangsu province from Sep.16th to Spe.21th. The opening ceremony of this event and its closing ceremony have been fixed and are going to be arranged in Nanjing and Suzhou, respectively.

Over 800 participants from Taiwan are to display 40,000 local commodities at over 2,100 stands there in Jiangsu province during the time. The huge scale is sure to surpass and exceed that of the previous year making this event the largest of its kind. Last year’s event attracted 270,000 people and over RMB5 billion in contracts were signed.

At present, the preparation work is coming to its end and Nanjing, Suzhou, Zhenjiang, Changzhou and some other major cities to participate this conference all are devoting their own efforts to run such a great event. Several symposiums will also be held to enhance the cooperation in agriculture, tourism and other areas between the Straits.
