The first “Huaqiao International Service Business Park Cup” Career Planning Competition moved onto its final stage on May 7. The competition was initiated by Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, along with Kunshan Radio and TV University, in an effort to promote talent resources in Kunshan, Jiangsu province.

Starting in late March, the competition invited chief executives from several local key enterprises to deliver lectures and consultations on career planning at the University. In addition, these enterprises will provide internship opportunities for university students. Outstanding students and winners of the competition will be considered for full-time positions at first priority.

The Final comes to its climax with students’ passionate speeches and brilliant performances. By comparing advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of different careers with SWOT analysis, students have, taking their own characteristics and interests into account, worked out their overall plans as well as some backups.

After fierce competition, Shen Qing, from the Department of Finance and Economics, won the Special Award.

The 10th University and Enterprises Fellowship was held on the same day to strengthen and expand cooperation between the University and Huaqiao Park. The University has signed internship and employment agreements with several local enterprises..
