Xue Guojun, Governor of the People’s Procuratorate of Kunshan, was invited to deliver a lecture on official crime prevention at Huaqiao Economic Development Zone on October 31.

“Officials’ honesty itself is a kind of productivity. We must make full use of the methods of prevention and punishment to effectively prevent official crimes. As a Communist Party member, we must cherish our work and life and establish correct opinions on life and value,” said Xue.

Xue discussed the current state quo, features and development tendency of official crimes. He also illustrated the four causes of official crimes, including human nature, environmental effects, mental attitude and legal consciousness.

Over 300 officials attended the lecture. Shen Huafei, vice director of the managing committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, put forward several requirements for attendees.

All members should deeply realize the importance and necessity of anti-corruption building; anti-corruption systems should be established to fight against official crimes; all members should stick to the principal of honest work and keep a clear mind.
