Six major enterprises in the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone have entered the list of experimental training bases for college graduates.

They are China Data Group Suzhou Branch, Jiangsu Yuanyang Data Processing Co Ltd, Kunshan Sofmit Software Co Ltd, China InfoSec Co Ltd, BOC Services Company Ltd Kunshan Branch and Kunshan Urban Development Jinting Property Co Ltd.

As experimental training bases, they are responsible for training local graduates into professional workers, laying a solid foundation for the strategy of talent localization.

Local graduates will be entitled to a subsidy of no less than 500 yuan per month once posted for experimental training. This will not only help them solve any current financial difficulties, but also benefit them from gaining practical experience.

Fifty-one enterprises were chosen for the first list of the experimental training bases for college graduates, which was recently announced by the Kunshan city government. The list will be valid for three years.

The selection of the experimental training bases for college graduates is part of a program to encourage and promote school-enterprise cooperation. The Kunshan government plans to appoint 100 enterprises as experimental training bases for college graduates by the end of 2009, which will be required to provide no less than 1,000 positions and train at least 500 graduates annually.

The personnel and marketing departments of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone are collecting related material for the applications of the second batch of experimental training bases for college graduates.
