Nanning Railway Bureau will readjust its train schedules on March 20, to coincide with the arrival of two new trains. The trains will travel to Guangzhou South Railway Station, increasing the total number of trains travelling between Liuzhou and Guangzhou to four.

Bullet trains will see the majority of readjustments and will make up 60 percent of the 168 passenger trains in Guangxi.

The Nanning-Guangzhou High-speed Railway is the main focus of the adjustments. Since the opening up of the route on Dec 26, 2014, bullet trains have become passengers’ first choice to travel between Guangxi and Guangdong.

Binyang Railway Station, the 11th county-level railway station in Guangxi, will see the largest changes. A total of 11 trains will be added to the station. These include: the Guilin-Beihai D8261, Nanning East-Guilin D8218, Wuzhou South-Beihai D8282/3, Nanning East-Wuzhou South D8285, Beijing West-Nanning East G421, Nanining East-Beijing West G530, Nanning East-Nanjing South G1504, Guangzhou South-Nanning D3616, Guangzhou South-Beihai D3640/1, Nanning East-Guangzhou South D2361 and Nanning-Guangzhou South D3621. Passengers can take the D8202 and D8238 trains to travel between Binyang and Liuzhou.

The railway department has reminded passengers to pay attention to the latest announcements on the 12306 website in case of adjustments to departure and arrival times, and departure and arrival stations.
