Mandarin oranges came into maturity recently. Orchard workers in villages and towns of Liucheng county, Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, were busy harvesting mandarin oranges. Traveling merchants from provinces such as Yunnan and Sichuan came to Liucheng county to purchase mandarin oranges in succession.

With a total area of 260,000 mu (17,333 hectares), Liucheng county is expected to produce 350 million kilograms of mandarin oranges this year. The current purchasing price ranges from 2.6-4 yuan per kilogram ($0.42-0.65 per kilogram).
