The layout of the first phase of Yizhou New Area will be further improved when the second phase is under construction, and problems in the convergence between the old and new urban areas will be dealt with, Wang said.

Cooperation with outstanding companies will be strengthened in order to attract these companies to settle down in Yizhou New Area, and more funds should be sought from higher authorities to speed up the construction of the area.

Wang said that construction plans should be made in advance to better arrange the construction of projects such as schools, hospitals and transport networks.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
