Eight wind turbines of the Huanjiang Jieziliang Wind Power Plant have recently realized power generation. Located in Longyan township, Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi, the project will be put into production at full capacity by the end of this year.

The Huanjiang Jieziliang Wind Power Plant is a major project promoted at the autonomous region level. Construction on the project started in April 2019, with a total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan ($181.65 million). The project has installed 40 wind turbines, with the installed capacity reaching 120 megawatt, and the average annual on-grid power will reach 30.16 million kWh.

After more than a year of construction, the project's booster station engineering, transmission line, fan foundation, and power collection line foundation engineering have all been completed. The fan and tower hoisting are proceeding in an orderly manner, while 25 sets of wind power equipment have been installed, with eight sets being connected to the grid.

To date, the entire project has completed 80 percent of its total engineering volume.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
