Dahua Yao autonomous county will hold a tourism consumption-driven poverty alleviation event and the traditional Zhuzhu Festival of the Bunuyao ethnic group in Dahou Town, a famous attraction of Dahua, on July 18.

The event will include a series of activities, such as the opening ceremony of the Zhuzhu Festival, special culinary experiences showcasing the traditional cuisine of the Zhuang and Yao ethnic groups, as well as a signing ceremony of agreements on cultural tourism consumption poverty alleviation.

Online activities will be carried out from July 10 to 17 on several media outlets to promote the event, while online live streaming will also be synchronously conducted on the opening day of the event, in which well-known figures will carry out online live-broadcasting activities for Hechi's cultural tourism and agricultural products.

In addition, exhibition booths for Hechi's specialties will be set up in Dahou Town to sell local products. A cooking show of Qibainong chicken will be carried out with a number of excellent chefs demonstrating their skills.

A variety of interesting competitions and a Bunuyao-style evening party will also be held.
