The contract signing and groundbreaking ceremony of major projects of the health and cultural tourism industry in Hechi was held in Dahua Yao autonomous county on June 5.

A total of nine major projects were signed or started construction in countries and districts, including Dahua Yao autonomous county, Jinchengjiang district, Yizhou district, Nandan county, Bama Yao autonomous county, Tian'e county, and Fengshan county, of which six projects have started and three projects have been signed.

The Dahua Hongshui River Crocodile Island Tourism Resort, which is under construction at the event venue, is a project integrating tourism, healthcare, vacations, and agricultural science bases. The total investment of the project is 2 billion yuan ($282.42 million), and the planned land is 8,000 mu (533.33 hectares). The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed within five years and is expected to provide employment for 3,000 people.
