Hechi village chosen for technology program

Longlitun in Guangxi is one of nine villages selected to receive investment to build remote sensing technology programs, it was announced recently.

Initiated by Guangxi Agricultural District Development Office, the program will focus on remote sensing, global position systems, geological information and 3D technology.

The village has so far received 200,000 yuan ($28,925) in government investment towards infrastructure construction, industrial development, environment, cultural heritages, and rural tourism.

According to local government, by the end of December 2017, major parts of the program including aerial videos and 3D equipment installations will be finished, attracting more investment and even tourism.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
