Bandhnu, a traditional craft combining art and colorful abstract geometry, has been practiced in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region for centuries.

Great importance has been attached to the antique craft, with specialized training courses offered to promote related skills.

The Third Primary School in Jinchengjiang district has introduced bandhnu as a routine class. The school has also founded interest groups for bandhnu, as well as other traditional crafts such pottery-making.

A large number of students actively participate in the specialized classes, and are expected to carry forward the tradition of the craft art.
