Hechi attracts large investments at China Top 500 Enterprises Summit

Hechi signed six contracts worth 28.3 billion yuan ($4.43 billion) at the 2015 China Top 500 Enterprises Summit held in Nanning, Guangxi, on Aug 22-23.

Hechi's deputy mayor, Li Wengang, signed the six contracts, involving gas pipeline, wind power generation, power grid construction and highway construction.

Ou Chengfang, director of the Hechi industry and information technology committee, pointed out that the six projects would play an important role in promoting the economic development of Hechi. He also said that the city would further coordinate and cooperate with China's top 500 enterprises to attract investment and boost development.

More than 1,000 people participated in China Top 500 Enterprises Summit, including about 600 representatives from top 500 enterprises in China.

Wang Jiming, an academic at the Chinese Academy of Engineering and vice chairman of China Enterprise Confederation, announced the lists of 2015 China's Top 500 Enterprises, China's Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, China's Top 500 Service Industry Enterprises and China's Top 100 Multinational Corporations.

On the list of Top 500 Enterprises, Sinopec remained at the top, followed by PetroChina, State Grid Corporation of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, The Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.
