The Donglan Red Tourism Spot was recently listed as "price trusted" by China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), Hechi Daily reported.

A total of 1,801 scenic spots from 30 provinces and cities were listed, of which one third were at national 4A level or above. Altogether 55 chosen scenic spots are in Guangxi and six are in Hechi.

The Donglan Red Tourism Spot has convenient transportation, comprehensive management and well-equipped facilities. According to local tourist administration, Donglan county received 331,200 tourists in the first four months of this year, bringing total tourist income of 312 million yuan ($50.26 million), an increase of 25 percent and 22 percent respectively.

To be recognized as "price trusted", the scenic spot has to meet six requirements: use a single price, offer discounts to special groups, advance booking privilege, publish price components, abstain from price fraud and freeze prices for three years.

Tourism authorities will regularly review the list to remove those no longer meeting the requirements.

CNTA said they will keep promoting the program and update the list ahead of summer vacation in July and the National Day holiday.
