Hechi prepares for college entrance examination

With the coming of the college entrance examination, Hechi in Southwest China's Guangxi has made many preparations.

The number of college entrance examination participants reaches nearly 22,000 people this year. Hechi has established 745 examination rooms in 17 testing centers.

Hechi organized an inspection team to do the comprehensive check towards examination rooms and papers on May 20-22. Hechi's standardized examination system received equipment inspection and maintenance from May 13 to June 3 and is in orderly process at present.

Many government departments cooperate with each other to guarantee the smooth ongoing of the examination. The public security department not only needs to transport and safeguard test papers, but will also take charge of public security, transportation and fire control. The environmental protection department is responsible for managing surrounding construction organizations to avoid noise disturbance. The radio management department will monitor the electromagnetic environment around the testing centers and search for cheating. The health department will assign medical staff to each testing center to provide medical insurance. The food and drug regulation department will strengthen inspection to avoid potential food risks.

Hechi will also improve the emergency disposal plan directing at the possible appearance of floods, geological disaster and epidemic disease infection during the college entrance examination.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
