The awards ceremony for 2015's "Zhenru Scholarship" was held in Hechi University on the afternoon of May 18.

Yu Renqiu, professor of the State University of New York, participated and presented prizes to 20 students.

The "Zhenru Scholarship" was donated by Chen Zhenru and contacted by Yu Renqiu. Since the establishment in 2004, a total of 195 students in Hechi University received 255,000 yuan ($41,131.5). Moreover, Chen Zhenru and her husband Lin Taiqi subsidized a university library and a student activity center.

At the ceremony, Hechi University's Deputy Party Secretary Wei Shizhen expressed thanks and encouraged students to study hard.

Professor Yu Renqiu communicated with teachers and students and answered the questions raised by students.
