Fengshan listed in 'China’s Most Beautiful Tourist Cities in 2014'

Beijing held a press conference to announce the “Most Beautiful Tourist Cities in China in 2014” in the second Tourism Integration and Innovation Forum recently. Fengshan county in Hechi, Guangxi, is on the shortlist.

The second Forum is sponsored by Xinhua.net, and is divided into three parts: a dialog on the 2014 Tourism Integration and Innovation Summit, a press conference about the most beautiful tourist cities and an introduction and marketing event of the beautiful cities to international tourism.

The Forum opened with an in-depth dialog on the integration and innovation of tourism in China. It also announced the list of “the Most Beautiful Tourist Cities in China” and “the Most Beautiful Tourist Attractions in China”.

The most beautiful tourist cities in China list is divided into eight categories, such as cultural tourism, ecological tourism and natural tourism. Fengshan is shortlisted under the category of ecological tourism and cultural tourism. Fengshan county has been striving to develop its recreational tourism and developing the World Geopark, World Ecological Park and World Recreational Park projects in recent years. It was also listed in the “Nine Most Beautiful Places in China” in April.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
