Tongjiang Park

The park is located on the Qingfen Mountain in the county seat of Nandan. It covers an area of 20 hectares. It is an ideal place for the residents to spend their leisure time, keep fit and go sightseeing. The park is built along a chain of the mountains, from east to west. Big trees give shade and clusters of flowers are scattered here and there.

On the basis of retaining original tree species, large numbers of famous and precious native plants such as camphor trees, orange osmanthus trees, autumn maple trees, bamboo, bauhinia, gardenia and camellia have been planted. In addition, bushes such as palms, olea europaea, African jasmine and winter jasmine are scattered. The whole ground of the mountain is covered with Manila grass.

The park is lit with elegantly-designed lights with unique cultural characteristics such as whipping top-shaped lights, bullhorn-shaped lights, bird’s cage-shaped lights, barn-shaped lights, lotus-flower-shaped lights, torch-shaped lights and palace lights. With all the lights on, the night view of the Park is very charming.
