Fangchenggang suffers longest heavy rain

Heavy rain and flooding affect daily lives seriously as Fangchenggang came under heavy rainfall, which started on July 25, Fangchenggang meteorological bureau warned on July 27 that heavy rainfall will continue till July 31.

The bureau asked residents to be vigilant, saying that thunderstorms and lightning and strong winds are expected alongside heavy rain. It is set to be the longest rainfall since the start of this year's flood season.

Local meteorological bureau also warned residents against possible landslides, debris flow, and urban inland inundation.
