Spring knocks on Zhanjiang's door
Updated: 2017-02-24
With average temperatures above 15 C this week, the coastal city of Zhanjiang in South China is experiencing a smooth transition into a new world filled with birdsong and the fragrance of flowers.
A mixture of a damp sea wind and warm spring breezes is touching trees and grass, kissing new buds, and blowing off people's sleepiness after a long winter.
Visitors are flocking to the Xiashan Sea-View Corridor to capture snapshots of the gulls flying back for their favorite fish and sea nails.
